POMPHREY HILL PAVILION
Pomphrey Hill Pavilion opened in April 2011 and is the brand new home for 3 South Gloucestershire sporting clubs. The site is run by Pomphrey Hill Community Sports Association and the Pavilion boasts 2 function rooms, licensed bar and kitchen. Both rooms can cater for many other activities including Judo, Tae Kwando and circuit training classes. If you would like to more information on using our facilities please click below.

Outdoor Space
The outdoor open space is managed by the Association and all the clubs who are a part of this contribute to the upkeep and maintenance on both the Pomphrey Hill and Emerson Green sites. Football pitches on both the Emersons Green site and Pomphrey Hill site are home to BHUFC & MUJFC and the cricket pitches home to C&MCC. Other regular users are Emersons Green running club and on Saturdays the site hosts the one of the local and free 5k park runs held in the Bristol area. There is plenty of open space for use by dog walkers, runners, families etc. and during the summer months local cluster schools use the space for sport days and their Olympiad day. There is space available for other clubs and groups to make use of the space for training purposes and any wanting to do this need to book through the manager at the pavilion so that we make sure the site is not overused. In addition a fee will be charged for such use and this will go towards the maintenance and overall upkeep of the site. Changing, toilet and shower facilities are also available for hire on both sites by groups / clubs using the outdoor space.
Sports Bar & Function Rooms
We have two rooms available first the Pavilion Room which is a light and airy room with an open vista due to the full length windows along 2 sides of the room. The room offers the best views out over the open space, football pitches and cricket square. Ideal for all types of functions from more formal wedding parties, naming ceremonies and wakes to private parties, children's parties, conferences and business launch parties. The room is flexible in it's use with a bar available if required and a variety of seating and table options to suit individual needs. The second is a Sports Bar & Club Room, formerly home to Downend boxing club this room is ideal for all type of exercise & dance classes with its sprung floor. Skylight windows and opening side windows ensure there is ample light in the room and although it does not offer the same views of the pavilion room is the same size and will be well suited to functions where a darker room is preferred such as discos, presentations, children's entertainers etc. It will also afford the clubs who are a part of the Association extra space when the pavilion room is unavailable.
